Hi, there. This is Siddharth. I have been working in the intersections of Nature, Waste, Community, Children/Youth and Community Led Grassroots Movements for the past 3-4 years predominantly in Assam.

Embarking on a 6 month long learning journey to Auroville, Needing Your Support to take care of the monetary expenses required for this journey ahead.

Brief Profile About Me

Born and bought up in Chabua, the journey has been a poignant one. Although wavered, or reinvented with a new rigour but the primary focus has always been lasting and deep rooted change. And what does such a change demand us to undertake. This has led to :

2020 : Work of Flood Relief with Jeevan Shiksha and Relief During of Covid Times - Crowdsourced, People Led and service was focused for the marginalized communities.

2021 : Covid Assam Network - A group of people from all across Assam providing necessary aid ( blood needs, hospital bed requirements, crowdfunding for the needy, routing people to available emergency services, Crowdfunding through Artists) at the time of Covid.

2021 - present : Mobilising at Save Deepor Beel Movement

2021, November - 2025, January : The Path with The Midway Journey began with a Baseline Study at Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh and on ground engagement with the Midway Team leading to being a team member in The Midway Journey Team (the field of Community Led Waste Management, Behavioral Change and Climate Change Education). Work happened throughout a span of three years in the field of :

  1. Designing and Facilitating Behavioral Change Sessions on Climate Change, Waste Awareness/Management (Urban, Sub-Urban and Rural)
  2. Organizing Small Scale and Large Scale Zero Waste Cleanup Drives
  3. Event Waste Management (Small Scale and Large Scale) - Marriages/Funerals, Public Events (NE Green Summit), Marathons and Music Festival (Majuli Music Festival)
  4. Intensive Immersive Programme for Youngsters to nurture space of ecological and community connnection (Deepor Beel, Assam and Mawphlang, Meghalaya)
  5. Organizing Community Gatherings and Environmental film festivals in collaborations with schools, institutions and organisations.
  6. Organising Community based Leadership sessions for running Community Led Waste Movements.
  7. Running End to End Operations, Awareness and Sustainability for Power of 300 project (now turned into Power Loop) - Waste Collection, Awareness Sessions, On Ground Facility Operations, Financial Management etc.
  8. Doing Baseline Multidisciplinary Waste Studies in different regions of the Northeast India.
  9. Designing and Year Long Facilitation for a comprehensive Nature Education Curriculum for Class 1 to 8 for The Green School International.
  10. Facilitating and running Institutional Waste Management Programmes (Behavioural and Institutional Change) in Schools and Govt Institutions.

2024, January - Present : Collectively establishing a regular weekly Community Gathering sessions at Shiksha Niketan - Swadhyaya - Supervising and Organising - Still Ongoing
