Hi there, this is Siddharth here embarking on a 6- month long learning journey to Auroville. Needing your support in making the journey happen.

Poster 2 Why?

All the while working in the social sector from the past 3-4 years what one has crucially realised is that alongwith taking care of systemic issues that plague us from all around, it is deeply pertinent to pierce the foundation of this crisis which is us, the human. More than not it is the human issues - the crisis within us and in our relationships - that manifest, hold on and at times proliferate into social and systemic catastrophes.

There is deep rooted need for a transformation within us, in the way we operate in our relationships, in our consciousness, the foundations of today’s crisis.

To take on this Integral Path taking into consideration the Self, Our Relationships, Our Society and Our Systems. I will be working at a unit called Aram and other possible units to build upon understanding and action in the field of :

  1. Cognition and Perception : How we make sense and see the world
  2. Psycho-Emotion, Somatic/Body and Movement Based Work : Psychodrama/Theatre, Dance
  3. Diving into Traditional/Folk Inner, Relational, Social and Governance Practices : Inner Work through Yoga Sutras, Koodam etc.
  4. Learning from Individuals, Organisations and Communities that are trying to build a deep rooted and holistic change.
  5. Broader and Deeper Understanding of the Global and Local Crisis.

Actionables on Ground : The journey has already begun What Auroville Journey would enable, is a boost.

  1. Youth Engagement Workshops
  2. Immersive Workshops (Nature Based, Self and Relational)
  3. Explorations in Embodied and Holistic Research Approaches - With the intention of developing a deeper local understanding and building local resilience
  4. Explorations in Swaraj Shiksha - Education that reintegrates us to our land and people, and helps us counter-act and create local resilience (cognitive, social and economic) amidst the tsunami of modernity.
